Capoeira
Capoeira with Mestre Bohasha is a beginner- and family-friendly class introducing participants to the dynamic Brazilian art form that combines self-defense, acrobatics, dance, music, and rhythm. The class develops balance, coordination, and physical strength while exploring Brazilian language and culture. Each session in the series teaches a new skill, and participants are welcome to attend alone or with their families.
Mestre Bohasha has taught capoeira in the United States since the early 2000s. He has experience working with people of many ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds, and incorporates capoeira’s martial arts, dance, music, language, and history into his teaching.
