Wondering & Wandering: Photo Workshop

Wondering & Wandering is a three-hour, hands-on photography workshop led by Baltimore artist and educator Lyon. Participants will explore the streets of Highlandtown, practicing how to recognize patterns, document the beauty of everyday city life, and connect with other creative people. No prior photography experience is required, and the workshop welcomes both beginners and experienced photographers seeking feedback.

Participants should bring a phone or camera set to automatic mode, along with a laptop, tablet, or phone for reviewing and editing images. Lyon is a Baltimore-based teacher, designer, and photographer whose approach is influenced by growing up in Amsterdam and observing social interactions in the street. He teaches motion graphics, 3D design, and special effects at MICA, UMBC, and BSA, exhibits regularly, and is active in Baltimore’s photography community.
