Business Entities for Artists with MDVLA
Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (MDVLA) leads a session for artists and creative entrepreneurs on choosing and understanding business structures. The program is designed for people just starting a creative business, those who already have an entity and are considering restructuring, and anyone with questions about their business setup.
The discussion covers sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies (LLCs), C- and S-corporations, nonprofit organizations, fiscal sponsorship, and other options.
