Pocket Bells + Feather & Flask

Pocket Bells and Feather & Flask headline an indie and folk-groove concert at The 8x10, with Baltimore singer-songwriter Sophia Bryter providing support. Pocket Bells are an electrifying indie band that emerged from Baltimore in 2016, earning regular AAA-radio play for three singles, a 2017 WTMD Baker Grant, and a WTMD top-20 placement for “Two Stop Train.” They have performed throughout the Mid-Atlantic and shared stages with Jimmy’s Chicken Shack, The Calling, and Sweet Crude.

Feather & Flask are a four-piece from Phoenix, Maryland, combining indie and psychedelic jam-band influences with ethereal harmonies, soulful songwriting, and exploratory improvisation. The group features Jack Quinn on rhythm guitar and vocals, Gabe Ford on percussion, Chad Januszewski on lead guitar and vocals, and Shelby Slomba on bass and vocals. Sophia Bryter is a 21-year-old Baltimore musician and Berklee College of Music graduate whose emotionally direct songs feature intricate arrangements. Her releases include the album *moonchild* and the single “Beauty Is Pain,” issued through Berklee’s student-run Revelation Records.
